It’s everywhere, so apart of us, so constant and essential that we often forget it’s there at all.We often stop believing in its value when we see it every day.

It’s been from the beginning and has no end. Its alive.

Have you ever thought…
How the creation story begins with water, when the Spirit of God moved UPON the waters.
We were created by Breath and our breath is water in motion.

Have you thought about civilisations being born around water’s flow, shaping migration patterns and creating communities centred around wells and rivers.

Or…When you’re thirsty, water quenches. When there’s a wound, it cleanses. When there’s heat, it cools. When tears flow, it brings what’s inside to the surface.

Water is power, driving energy for electricity. It’s soothing to a fevered or weary body. It turns seed into food.It transforms dry ground into gardens. It restores the rhythm of flow and resonance where stagnation once was.

What about the sounds of water? The ice that cracks; the sea that roars, the sound of a thunderous rainstorm!! When you float in water, water lets you hear your breath in a way you can't anywhere else.

Have you experienced the extremes of water? The drip to the waterfall; the drought to the flood; ice to steam; the shallows to the deep; the dew to the rain; refreshing or drowning. It can give and can take away.

It’s symbolic, representing the Spirit, life and transformation. Old can become new, dirty to clean, baptism, provision and outpouring.

Water is where faith meets science, proving that 'out of the belly will flow rivers of living water' is both a physical and spiritual truth. The belly, as the core of our being, is the centre of hydration and balance, linking the ascending and descending flows within us. But it also physically holds our thoughts and emotions, while also being the place where the Spirit lives, connecting the two when we believe.

In the body, water is the greatest connector.Fascia, the most abundant connective tissue,  holding water to create the space for nerves to communicate and systems to flow. At a cellular level, it ensures nutrients absorb and move where they’re needed. It enables. Without water, movement, healing, and resonance are impossible.
It literally and figuratively moves us - clearing blockages, softening what’s hard, and making way for new life.

I see this every day in colonic hydrotherapy. The same principles of water’s power to heal, soften, and renew are at work. What’s hard becomes soft, what’s blocked is released, and the body is reminded of its ability to restore itself and come alive.

Water isn’t just something we use, it is in everything. It nourishes us from the inside out and teaches us that life is a process of flow, not force.

And do you know, when you breathe your last physical breath, the breath of your spirit continues - like water returning to its source, flowing into eternity.Because just as water never truly disappears, neither does life - it transforms, flows, and leaves a mark wherever it goes.

In the meantime, from beginning to end, choose life that flows in living water.
